When people are working at cross-purposes, on a team with unresolved issues and conflict, productivity diminishes and your organization’s bottom-line is impacted negatively.
Get your people working together as a team, through this results-focused program that delivers clear, practical, relevant information about how to relate with people to resolve conflict and misunderstanding, and to maximize results through harnessing the core strengths in people.
Outcomes you can expect from the “Working Together as a Team” program include:
- Understanding of core strengths, and how each affects others;
- 3 mechanisms to understand others, who are different or alike;
- Team profile with aggregate strengths, to understand your team dynamics;
- 4 practical tools to inter-relate effectively;
- A plan for how to work together and achieve goals; and
- Measured progress towards defined outcomes, during and after the program.
While our team dynamics were positive to begin with, since the team building day, I have seen a noticeable increase in communication in the team. There is also a renewed sense of partnership in our work projects. It was a worthwhile exercise, which will continue to pay dividends for our team well into the future.

Program Format and Structure
The “Working Together as a Team” coaching program is structured as follows:
Pre-Assessments • Strengths and Team Effectiveness assessment conducted for each individual on the team, over a two-week period.
Program Outcome Measures • Individual consultation to define your team’s desired outcomes, with measures designed to realize your return on investment (ROI).
Workshop Intensive • ½ day or Full-day workshop in-person in Ottawa, Canada, facilitated by Sylvia Goodeve.
Experiential Team-building (Optional) • Put your team dynamics and working agreement into practice with an experiential team building program: take your team sailing with Advantage Boating in Ottawa, Canada.
Group Coaching • Two group coaching sessions with all team members (in-person or teleconference) to solidify learning and ensure accountability to plan.
Individual Coaching • Two individual coaching sessions for each team member, to solidify learning, provide individual attention for meeting challenges, and hold accountable for individual commitments.
Program Outcomes Measured • Post-assessment to measure results and ensure ROI. Final results report on progress towards your defined outcomes.
The value of the program came in the form of both the PAVF tool (Team Profile) and how the facilitator brought the results together. Her approach helped the team understand each other better and to put the knowledge into action. The afternoon of sailing resulted in some interesting observations • seeing team members’ (and my own) behaviour patterns in a new way so that I could better decide how to respond.
